It's BRAW! Festival Taking Place from Friday 9th August until Friday 16th August
It’s BRAW 2019 now in it’s 3rd year is excited to announce there are over 60 artists, crafters, thespians and musicians taking part in what is the biggest It’s BRAW Festival yet! Taking place throughout a variety of venues within Blairgowrie and Rattray showcasing the abundance of talent within the largest town in Perthshire.
Famous for its Berries, Mills and Markets, It’s BRAW places Blairgowrie firmly on the map for its wealth of Arts.
Join us in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The Rattray Arts Festival with an exhibition of over 40 Professional and Amateur Artists.
Come along for the showcase week where It’s BRAW invites you to try out a huge choice of Arts from Needle Felting to Cyanotype Printing, from Watercolour, Pencil Drawing, Crocheting, Decopage to learning to Play a New Instrument, Acting, Fused Glass . . . The list goes on!
Don’t worry, after spending the day learning your new craft we have plenty entertainment in the evenings to let you relax - sit back and take in the sounds and words of Sheila Stewart through Hamish McGregor or Sing Along with Harry McFadyen and enjoy a curry at Cargills Bistro or have a good laugh during Blairgowrie Players production of Allo Allo.
Don’t forget the main Concert in Blairgowrie Town Hall where you will hear live music from Harry McFadyen, Becci Stewart and Piper AJ McGregor. The concert will culminate in a ceilidh with Gordon Reid – Get your dancing shoes on and join us for a fantastic evening of entertainment. Saturday 10th August, 8pm – 10.30pm, Blairgowrie Town Hall.
