Looking to reach out to its closest neighbours in the PH18, PH16 and PH8 postcode areas, Blair Castle & Atholl Estates has launched a new initiative which it’s confident will boost local visitors to the estate, particularly the castle gardens, gift shop and Tullibardine Restaurant.

Priced at just £5 per person for an annual membership (with a family of five in the one household at just £15 per year) the new Neighbours of Blair membership scheme gives unlimited access to the gardens, grounds, restaurant and gift shop throughout the open season, during regular hours.

Those signing up can enjoy a 20% discount on their first visit to the Tullibardine Restaurant, which offers delicious seasonal dishes showcasing local produce. This includes meat from the estate and from local Pitlochry butcher Fair Feast, which forms the centrepiece to the restaurant’s popular Sunday roasts and steak sandwiches.

Members will also receive a Neighbours of Blair hot drinks loyalty card, where every 6th hot drink is free. During the closed season (months), they can additionally take advantage of invitations to special restaurant events.

“We think our Neighbours of Blair membership scheme is set to be an absolute a winner,” said Atholl Estates Marketing Manager, Kirsty McConnell.

“It will be particularly beneficial to senior citizens looking to enjoy a meal together, to young mums connecting with other young mums over coffee and cake, and to families looking for fresh air and fun at the weekend.  Under the highly affordable membership, families can gain access to our popular weekend deer feeding sessions which children absolutely love,” she said. “Our gift shop, a plastic free zone, is filled with affordable pocket money toys. It has a range of specially curated gifts for everyone.”

“Details on how to sign up are available online at https://atholl-estates.co.uk/neighbours-of-blair/," said Kirsty. “On your first visit, please head to the ticket hut where you will be asked to present your digital membership along with proof of address. We accept a valid driving licence, or a utility bill or council tax bill dated within the last three months.”

“You’ll will receive your restaurant discount voucher and hot drinks loyalty card at the ticket hut.”

“We look forward to welcoming you to the estate. In supporting this scheme, you are supporting the lifeblood of our estate, and we extend our thanks.  We are hopeful that the scheme will provide local people with even more reasons to connect, especially across the winter months.”
