AD | Christmas Parties & Festive Speaker Lunch Will Once Again Take Place at the Red House Hotel

Two different Christmas Parties are running this year, on Saturday 12th December, and Saturday 19th, along with a sociable Christmas Lunch, on Friday 18th December, with Willie Hunter, one of Scotland’s premier after dinner speakers.

“The party night on the 12th December costs £45 per person, with the 19th December party priced at £49.50. Both nights kick off with a Prosecco reception at 7pm, followed by dinner served sharp at 8pm. DJ Ally Wheeler, a Red House Hotel favourite, will be on hand to entertain everybody on the 12th, with popular band, Pure Sound, performing on the 19th. As well as traditional roast turkey, menu highlights are braised featherblade of beef, whipped goats cheese & beetroot, and clementine posset with cranberry compote and homemade shortbread.”
Friday, the 18th of December at 2pm sees Willie Hunter, a highly experienced after dinner speaker, Burns Night speaker, and event host, take centre stage at this year’s festive lunch. Priced at £49.50 per person, a deliciously festive three course meal will be served at the lunch, followed by coffee and mints.
A very popular figure on the speaking circuit for many years prior, Willie has a relaxed and engaging manner which endears him to all. Prior to entering the speaking circuit, Willie had a long and successful career with leading Edinburgh legal firm, Gillespie McAndrew, where he became one of the firm senior partners. He was also closely associated with the well-known property business, Hunters.
His ability to make humorous observation about real life experiences gives his presentations a warmth and authenticity.
Willie has engaged with many of the world top names from sport and entertainment in his role as a speaker at numerous Burns Events, at home and abroad, including Rory Bremner, Ronnie Corbett, Elaine C Smith and Tommy Docherty, to name but a few.
His speaking engagements have taken him all over the world from Amsterdam and Cairo to Abu Dhabi.
