AD | Local Produce Elevated in New Dalmore Inn Winter Menu
Advertorial Feature
A new winter menu is now available at The Dalmore Inn in Blairgowrie
All the Dalmore favourites are still on the menu, such as traditional fish and chips, fajitas, and the ever popular macaroni cheese, but as it's a change of season, the hidden gem eatery in Blairgowrie has taken the opportunity to shake things up a bit, and make it all as seasonal as possible.
New on the menu is a delicious fillet of cod dish, with potato beignets, cauliflower puree, buttered greens and a hazelnut & golden raisin vinaigrette. Also set to tempt the tastebuds are sweetcorn falafels, along with a roast breast of free range chicken stuffed with cream cheese, spinach and garlic.
For classic winter comfort food, there’s a juicy venison burger topped with butchers’ bacon, gruyere cheese, truffle mayo and served with peppercorn sauce mayo, coleslaw, home cut chips and onion rings.
The Dalmore also has some new desserts to offer, including dark chocolate and whisky cremeux, with honeycomb and raspberry sorbet, warm pear & almond bakewell tart, Brioche Bread & Butter pudding, and a Sea Buckthorn Posset with orange sorbet & shortbread.
Daily specials are also available every day. In recent weeks they have included extra special desserts, such as Baked Alaska, and Paris Brest with praline crème patisserie, poached apple with toasted almonds, and chocolate ice cream.
“We are always excited to unveil a new menu here at The Dalmore Inn where we are all about affordable excellence, that’s something that is really at the heart of all we do. Along with this delicious new menu, we still have our Light Lunch menu non offer too,” said Manager, Arnaud Merrouche. “It has two courses at £20.95, served 12 noon to 4pm every day. You can mix and match between menus too.”
“Our dishes feature local sourcing wherever possible, with a trusted band of Perthshire suppliers providing us with incredible fruit, vegetables, meat and game,” he added.
“We aim to elevate these ingredients, making them ever more delicious.”
